Welcome to DessertStalking
DessertStalking has a two-fold purpose. First, for those who just come to watch, it is a place to find all the sweet stuff that food blogs have to offer, in beautiful photography and great recipes, as well as reviews and conversations. Secondly, it’s a place for food bloggers and photographers to show their stuff and to drive a bit of traffic to their websites.
Is there room for another site like this? Only time will tell, but people love looking at photos of food and I don’t think that trend is going to change anytime soon. Desserts and sweets seems to be especially drool-worthy, so here on DS, we’ll concentrate on those. Not only will this be a place to find great food photos, but as the site grows, I hope you will also find it to be a great source for recipes and inspiration.
If you are a food blogger, and you would like to get some photos submitted, please take a moment to register, and read our submission guidelines. The submission process is fast and easy. We now have email notification when your submission is moderated, including the reasons why a post may not be used, and suggestions for an alternate photo, if applicable.
We sometimes pin our favorite posts on Pinterest, and mention them on our Facebook Page as well as trying to Tweet a few each day. You can find how to keep up with us all of those places in the sidebar.
If you are here for the show, please let food bloggers know that you appreciate what they are doing. It takes a lot of time to cook, photograph and post a recipe. Go check out their blogs, leave them a comment, and maybe mention them on your favorite social media. They work hard and as a blogger myself, I can tell you that we love hearing from the people who visit us.
